Lithium resources in high-latitude mining areas are mainly hard-rock lithium ores such as spodumene and petalite, matched with hydrometallurgical smelting processes. Northern alpine mining regions suffer from extreme cold in winter, labour shortages and complex operating conditions. Conventional batch filtration equipment features low efficiency, vulnerability to freezing and blockages, and high operation and maintenance costs, making it unable to meet local production requirements.
Boasting core strengths including fully automatic continuous operation, multi-stage countercurrent washing and customisable low-temperature resistant design, vacuum belt filters have become the mainstream solid-liquid separation equipment tailored for alpine mining areas. They are widely deployed in key local industries including new energy, mining and fine chemicals.

Conventional plate-and-frame filter presses and small-scale filtration equipment operate in batch mode, requiring frequent shutdowns for cake discharge and equipment cleaning. Remote alpine mining regions struggle with labour recruitment and face steep labour expenses, so discontinuous production severely restricts the throughput of the entire production line.
Furthermore, pulp generated after acid leaching of hard-rock lithium ores contains highly corrosive media. Standard equipment is susceptible to corrosion and failure. In addition, temperatures dropping to minus 20 to 30 degrees Celsius in winter often lead to frozen pipelines, hardened seals and cracked filter belts, resulting in unplanned production shutdowns.
Equipped with a multi-stage countercurrent washing system, the unit delivers integrated operations including lithium slurry filtration, impurity separation, material washing and advanced dewatering. Reverse spray washing enables sufficient recovery of residual lithium elements within the slurry, significantly lifting lithium resource recovery rates and effectively addressing the widespread industry challenge of high material loss during hard-rock lithium ore processing at alpine mining sites.
The filter supports 24/7 unattended continuous operation with fully automatic variable frequency regulation, eliminating frequent manual intervention. It adapts ideally to labour shortages at remote mines and substantially cuts production and operation costs for enterprises.

To adapt to low-temperature environments in northern alpine regions, the vacuum belt filter can be fitted with pipeline heat tracing and thermal insulation systems as well as low-temperature heating units for electrical control cabinets. Combined with low-temperature-resistant seals and special filter belts, the equipment can run stably under extreme temperatures down to -35°C, completely eliminating issues such as pipeline freezing and blockage, component failure and unplanned equipment shutdowns.
In addition, wetted parts of the machine are constructed from 316L stainless steel and PTFE-lined anti-corrosion materials. These materials withstand long-term erosion by acid-leached lithium ore slurry and corrosive chemical media, adapting to a wide range of complex industrial working conditions and significantly extending equipment service life.
The equipment features a fully enclosed structural design that effectively prevents material volatilization and dust leakage, meeting stringent international environmental emission standards and supporting compliant production for mining and chemical enterprises.
Furthermore, the equipment control system supports multi-language interfaces and enables seamless integration with local DCS central control systems, catering to intelligent production requirements of various enterprises.

At present, the equipment is compatible not only with mainstream hard-rock lithium ore smelting projects, but also meets production requirements for pilot lithium extraction projects from oilfield-associated brines in alpine regions. It serves as an all-round solid-liquid separation unit that supports both the upgrading of traditional industries and the development of the new energy sector.
